The culmination of 20 years of British Audio design experience in one single package, the BlackDeath CBR enclosure not only marks the return of the CBR, but is also the first BlackDeath loaded active bass enclosure from VIBE Audio.
Built for Extreme bass with aggressive volume, the BlackDeath CBR combines a perfectly matched Subwoofer, Amplifier and Enclosure for a drop in plug and play bass solution that will instantly transform the sound of any car audio system.
Loaded with a specially designed BlackDeath subwoofer engineered to work in combination with the CBR enclosure and active amp, each component complements each other for the best possible bass performance.
a) The front gasket is made from high quality machined aluminum for a high-end aesthetic to complement the bold black and yellow fiberglass cone design.
b) The black and yellow cone was designed using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for optimum rigidity to weight ratio, the hybrid woofer cone is made from an absorbing polypropelyne and fiberglass. The result is increased depth and clarity of bass.
c) Dual progressive poly-glass spiders provide control and stability of the woofer cone whilst minimizing weight.
d) The angular torsion basket provides rigidity and support for the motor and moving parts of the subwoofer. The 5 vented arms of the torsion basket cradle the coil and allow it to breathe cool air when in motion.
e) The subwoofer’s double stacked motor was designed using FEMM (Finite Element Method Magnetics) giving linear flux saturation and low distortion, to ensure great sound quality. Using FEMM we can use the maximum magnetic force of the magnet to drive the cone

The CBR Enclosure
The legendary CBR enclosure is back. One of VIBE Audio’s most iconic products from their 20 years of leading the British Audio industry, the CBR is the international gold standard of what a powered bass solution should be, loud, hard hitting bass, contained in a single compact and attractive package.
The CBR features VIBE Audio’s propirotory Pressure Wedge 2 enclosure design and is engineered to get the best possible performance from the BlackDeath subwoofer, with a sloped design to reduce standing waves for better overall sound quality.
The unique shape means the enclosure can be installed to fire bass at either the front or the back of the vehicle, and the A.R.B.S.S. feet (Anti Resonance Bass Support System) raise the box off the vehicle floor to prevent the transference of vibration for a cleaner bass sound.
The CBR enclosure was legendary for combining ; Carbon fibre effect, tight weave acoustic carpetting and VIBE CNC detailing completes the ultimate bass package.
Slot Port
The BlackDeath CBR Enclosures feature a huge, highly efficient slot port with ABS port trim smoothing the airflow in and out of the enclosure. The slot port delivers high volume output with almost zero turbulance giving a rich full sound, with an excellent deep, hard hitting bass punch.
PowerBox Bass 3
Introducing the PowerBox Bass 3, the most powerful ever VIBE active enclosure amplifier. Immense power in a compact package; VIBE have used the latest Class D amplifier technology for excellent efficiency and extreme output.
No other separate amplifier is required- simply connect the BlackDeath CBR to your car battery and headunit via Low Level (RCA) and give your system the bass it is missing…
The enclosure also includes the PowerBox remote to allow remote gain control from the front of the vehicle for easy setup and fine tuning of your sound stage.
The PowerBox Bass 3 is compatible with the DeltaBox Line Convertor (sold separately) which allows connection of any VIBE enclosure or amplifier to a standard factory fit headunit via high level speaker output.
Use with a VIBE FastPlug (sold separately) to quickly, easily and safely remove your active bass enclosure from your car when you need to claim back your luggage compartment.

Installation cost is located anywhere in the Southeast, including Carlow, Wexford, Waterford, Wicklow, Laois, Kilkenny & Kildare Only, outside of these areas, it is a further €59.95 so please contact to ensure you are covered in the fitting zones. A €20.00 discount will be refunded if the job is done in store in Carlow Town, but please allow booking times.
