BlackAir Vented Enclosure
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of British Audio, the new BlackAir Vented enclosure is the much anticipated update to VIBE Audio’s best-selling all-in-one powered bass solution.
The BlackAir Vented range has always set the industry benchmark for powered bass enclosures, now adding a huge slot port for high volume output with almost zero turbulence; the BlackAir Vented enclosures deliver great musicality with excellent depth and clarity of bass.

blackair cutout imageThe BlackAir Vented enclosure is loaded with the BlackAir 10” or BlackAir 12” Subwoofer, an engineering masterpiece of subwoofer design known for its perfect balance of power and precision.
a) A VIBE Audio design signature; the front gasket is made from high quality machined aluminium for a high-end aesthetic.
b) The paper composite cone was engineered using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for optimum rigidity to weight ratio. The result is great depth and clarity of bass, with a high degree of musicality.
c) The BlackAir’s dual progressive poly-glass spiders provide control and stability of the woofer cone whilst minimizing weight.
d) The angular torsion basket provides rigidity and support for the motor and moving parts of the subwoofer. The vented arms of the torsion basket cradle the coil and allow it to breathe cool air when in motion.
e) The subwoofer motor was designed using FEMM (Finite Element Method Magnetics) giving linear flux saturation and low distortion, to ensure great sound quality. Using FEMM we can use the maximum magnetic force of the magnet to drive the cone.

VIBE Audio’s propitiatory Pressure Wedge 2 enclosure design is engineered to get the best possible performance from the BlackAir subwoofer, with a sloped design to reduce standing waves for better overall sound quality.
The unique shape means the enclosure can be installed to fire bass at either the front or the back of the vehicle, and the A.R.B.S.S. feet (Anti Resonance Bass Support System) raise the box off the vehicle floor to prevent the transference of vibration for a cleaner bass sound.
VIBE is world renown for stunning product design and the new BlackAir Vented Enclosures are no exception; Carbon fibre effect, tight weave acoustic carpeting and VIBE CNC detailing completes this perfect bass package.

The BlackAir Vented Enclosures feature a huge high efficient slot port with ABS port trim smoothing the airflow in and out of the enclosure.
The slot port delivers high volume output with almost zero turbulence giving a rich full sound, with excellent quality of bass and great musicality.

The new generation of VIBE Active Amplifier has arrived. The PowerBox Bass 2 is integrated into the side of the enclosure and is perfectly tuned to get the very best out of the BlackAir’s subwoofer and enclosure combination.
No other separate amplifier is required- simply connect BlackAir Vented to your car battery and headunit via either Low Level (RCA) or High Level (speaker wire) inputs and give your system the bass it is missing…
Use with a VIBE FastPlug (sold separately) to quickly, easily and safely remove your bass enclosure from your car when you need to claim back your luggage compartment.

A €20.00 discount will be refunded if the job is done in store in Carlow Town, but please allow booking times.
